Marwood Logo Spotting Book Launch

We are launching an exciting new project this week! A small book project that will span 10 years. Each year we will work with a photographer or artist to re-interpret our signature diamond: Logo Spotting. Stephen J.Morgan kicks off this project and has produced 10 beautiful photographs for Marwood. He is represented by one of our favourite galleries – the Wapping Bankside – which was founded by the inspiring and pioneering Jules Wright.  We are showing the images for one night only at our Walpole partner Beetles + Huxley gallery in Piccadilly. If you would like to come and join us this Thursday 30th July from 6 – 9pm and enjoy a glass of fizz, please rsvp to info@marwoodlondon.co.uk

Book review: Egon Schiele

Autumn / Winter 2014 collection is about to launch online. So, we are going back to the books that inspired the collection. A look to Vienna and the early 20th century artists and their explorative work and styles that set them apart from Europe. First book to look at is the beautiful illustrations by Egon Schiele.

Studio Book Look – No.1 Penn

We collect books. Can’t get enough of them in the Marwood studio. Ever since seeing the shelves of the school art teachers, where they collected a book from every exhibition they went to, we have tried to follow in their footsteps… somewhat. As art and books are a big part of inspiration here, we thought we should start to share the love. Here is a look in to book 1 by Irvin Penn.
